Original Interruptive oil paintings by Artist Pacifico Palumbo,
inspired by the 1976 Maysle's Brothers cult movie "Grey Gardens"

Inspired, thrilled and delighted by the 1976 Maysle's Brothers production of the cult film Grey Gardens, artist Pacifico Palumbo brings to life a series of paintings that capture the true essence and many moods of this classical film.

It has been described variously as a Tennessee Williams - style exploration of Big Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter Little Edie, aunt and cousin to the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, an invitation to mockery or a metaphor for a society consumed by its romance of the past. Grey Gardens has roused passions for thirty years, achieving iconic status.

This film opens as a Broadway musical at the Kerr Theater in New York City and as a new film by famous Director Martin Scorsese starring Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange in 2007.
